Women In Film
The Women in Film Monologue challenge in particular is about;
  1. promoting female voices in film,
  2. fostering creativity and talent in the industry
  3. Skilling new female talent in the film industry.
Competition guidelines and rules:
Who is eligible for participation in the Women in Film Monologue challenge?
  1. Must be a female
  2. 18 years above.
  3. Stays with in the metropolitan Kampala (Kampala, Wakiso, Entebbe, Mukono)
Submission Guidelines
  1. Check the women in Film Landing page and choose the best script you can take up,
  2. Create a monologue between 1-2 minutes following that script, using the best equipment, a smart phone or digital camera.
  3. Upload the monologue on YouTube and keep it private.
  4. A link to the submission page will be provided, submit your details and a link to your YouTube video.
  5. Upon submission, you will receive an email, congratulating you and more information and guidelines.
  6. The top ten selected participants’ videos will be rebranded and used for promotions and voting, that is on both Cinema Ug partner’s socials and the participant’s social media platforms

The official communication channel will be the organizers (Cinema Ug) social media platforms. Any other information from other sources should be treated with contempt.
The official email for the program is women@cinemaug.com. Occasionaly, the participants might receive emails using cinemaug1@gmail.com.
The official contact for inquiries is +256 756 984 354 and shall be available 8 hours a day, 5 days of the week.
The competition will mostly be held online but the official office in case of physical inquiries will be Cinema Ug offices located at Arriva building Makerere Kavule – Suite 36.
